Everyone, MS press link To me it seems like this further indicates that the language of choice for Windows development is moving away from C/C++ to C#. Just my two cents. Don't tear me to pieces please. :) I am glad that Windows forms is getting the attention that it deserves. With all this hype about .NET this real neat framework for Windows Development is often ignored. Suresh

Heh ... looks like another vb sort of coder. Look buddy ... the entire win32 API is in C ... not even in C++ .... there u go. VC C and C++ will be there as long as MS will produce a single piece of software. Btw, try writing an OS or a device driver using C#. TH

Or do you mean the person making the post ? tanzim wrote: Look buddy ... the entire win32 API is in C ... not even in C++ .... there u go. So you're saying we shouldn't use C++ ? tanzim wrote: VC C and C++ will be there as long as MS will produce a single piece of software. I'm sure they will, in fact I am personally betting on it, I've given C# no more than a cursory glance. tanzim wrote: Btw, try writing an OS or a device driver using C#. Along with Web Forms. So when speaking about Windows Forms you are speaking .NET and have to know .NET. Right? regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork?
