    I have reinstall windows xp with sp2 but when i click on vs.net setup its does open this program. just my mice icon shwoing processing symbol but its does not open vs.net installtion program. i have reinstall alot of time on sp1 but its not creating any problem and i have dell machine d815 board and 866 processor with 128 ram kindly reply me

      Your RAM seems low! On XP Home it requires 96MB, on XP Pro it requires 160MB. Which are you using? Either way, I'd say 256MB is the absolute minimum you should contemplate running VS 2003 with. I have no idea what your problem is though. I installed on XP Pro SP2 with no problems. What about anti-virus or internet security software? I'd disable those. Although they shouldn't stop you from launching the icon! So it must be more serious than that. Kevin
