Bill Gates himself claimed that .Net will be available for download by January 4th and many speculate that we'll see it tomorrow ... I'm not so sure. I'm usually not impatient about a piece of software because I want it done right moreso than I want it today. The situation I'm in right now is a little different because I'm in the process of moving a lot of 16-bit C++ code to 32-bit and would love to use the new tools to do it with. Plus, I have to train people at the company to use the 32-bit tools and would rather teach them 7.0 instead of 6.0 and then 7.0. For those reasons only I'm particularly anxious. So what do you think? What Odds are you giving, If you are prepared to go 25 to 1, I'll put 20 cents on it. Any-where less than 25 to 1 and you are a rougue Bookie and the authorities should lock you up ! Regardz Colin J Davies

You got the year wrong. Jan 4th by itself is meaningless. You need to suffix or prefix it with an year in AD format. Bill prolly mean 2003 AD [for colin that might be 1903 or 1803 as and according to his whims] Nish Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain www.busterboy.org If you don't find me on CP, I'll be at Bob's HungOut

Actually he did specify a year, sort of. On December 5th, 2001, he said it would be released within 30 days.

I would expect the Venusian days - 243 Earth days per Venus day. One day on Venus is longer than a Venusian year. ;)
