Bose® SoundDock for iPod?

Anybody use Bose® SoundDock[^] for their iPod. My wife owns iPod Mini (pink). I would like to know is it worth to have it or not? TIA

it has a nice sound. if u can, get out to an apple store, they usually have all the speakers on display for your to hear. Your hearing and your wife's are not the same as the people who review these items, so its best you hear it for yourself -- modified at 15:08 Wednesday 14th December, 2005

Thank you. My concerns were answered correctly in the reviews. Good design to go with the "white" iPods - Our iPod Mini is Pink I just purchased the iPod Nano yesterday (9/8/05) to replace the Mini in my car. I want to confirm that it works with the SoundDock. The Nano comes with a base adaptor in the box for compatibility with accessories. The base acts as a dock insert for the SoundDock. So, instead of using one of the 5 included dock inserts, use the one that came with your Nano. It fits pretty well. - It's good that it works with iPod Nano.

I would not buy that! Do you have a home theater set up. If you do you could buy an Xbox 360, plug in your ipod and play it via the 360 on your home theater. Also, what is wrong with using a simple earphone jack to RCA plugs converter? Seriously, why spend $300 on somthing that only works with an IPOD? "People who never make mistakes, never do anything." I have my ipod connected to an old amplifier with a good pair of speakers and the quality is great.
