    Very strange. It will not work for me under Excel 2000. It informs me that the document is no longer available. Quattro Pro, on the other hand, will perform the operation successfully.

          hmm, dunno. you can open the website directly from the open file dialog of excel 2003 (and maybe 2000?) -- just type the url of the website in the filename box.
