The Worst Program Of The Millennium. I hate it  It's ssssllllllooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww and heeaaaaavyyyyyyyy. When you open a PDF file in Firefox or IE it takes ages to load, download the file and show it. Half of the times it makes Firefox crash. What the hell are Adobe programmers doing? :~ ___________________________________ Tozzi is right: Gaia is getting rid of us. My Blog [ITA]

Since version 6.0, what they're doing is loading a ton of plug ins, and that's largely responsible for the incredibly long load time. If you Google for Adobe, plug ins, and slow load time, you'll find a number of articles out there that show you how to configure Adobe so that it loads only what's necessary, which alledgedly brings the performance back to acceptable levels.
