    What's about developer machines that they requiere so much memory. I keep adding memory as more I use a machine. As the projects get bigger and I use that machine to publish them, so the machine asks me for more memory. So what's the normal here for memory? Got normally 4 projects open VS2003 and VS2005, I copile one while I work in another. Need to go to Best Buy in a few and get another GB How much memory is in your computer? Al

    1GB. Wish I could double it, especially since I could disable the Windows pagefile, but sadly funds don't allow. :(

        2 GB in my desktop at work, 1 GB in my work laptop, and 512 MB at home. -- LuisR

                      And to think that large banks (those that handle cash, not memory banks) in the US used to have at the most 4 megabytes of main memory on a System/370!
