I've heard great deal about Professional ASP.Net[^]. I haven't read it yet, so I couldn't tell you better, but people seem to love it. Thanks to the "new" feature of Amazon you can browse a few chapters. Probably this will give you a clue what the book is about. regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.

I do both usually. I like reading books especially if they're about a new technology, because a book has the oportunity to provide more information on what happens beneath the surface, not just a particular way of acomplishing things. They usually provide information that can not be fitted into an article, and the result is a clearer version of the whole system. From my experience reading a good book and then digging into articles to enhance your knowledge is the way to go. Unfortunatelly this doesn't happen as much as I would like to because of the lack of spare time, so many times I just go for that article. Ohh, I sure wish the days were longer.....:) regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.

Can't go wrong with a title from WROX. (The big red books) though I cannot recommend a specific title since I have not read an ASP.NET 2.0 book. "Until the day of his death, no man can be sure of his courage" -- Jean Anouilh

Hi,:) I have this book and i think it's great since it handles everything about ASP.NET 2.0. and is written quite well for the parts i have read until this moment. Of course it's not possible to go deep into all the subjects(you can't explain .Net security in detail in 36 pages with sample code), but the main features of ASP.Net are explained well i think. I have bought this book together with Professional C# 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 Security,Membership and Role Management,(Both also from Wrox Press)and together they are a good and affordable($ 119,97 in total)set of books on C#.Net 2.0 and ASP.Net 2.0.
