Dr. Alexander Schauss, Ph.D., director of the American Institute for Biosocial Research in Tacoma Washington, reported that when prison cells were painted pink, it reduced aggressive behavior among prisoners. “Even if a person tries to be angry or aggressive in the presence of pink, he can't. Whereas: Orange is a warm color because it is the marriage of red and yellow, and it's considered a happy and lively color and is associated with joy and sunshine. It has a luminous, glowing quality that captures our attention. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement and stimulation. also: Orange has a declassifying, broad appeal. It can be used to indicate that a product is suitable for everyone, and can make an expensive product seem more affordable. It has a high visibility, so it is used to catch attention and it is very effective for promoting food products and toys. A sherrif in one of the southern states did that and it reduced problems in the prison and the reoffending rates. That didn't stop one or two idiots telling him off for it though :wtf: I like that guy, he came up with a low cost harmless deterrent (the pink prison outfits probably helped). The tigress is here :-D
