No..no..no this is not a programming questions but a question about a program. Ok, here is the problem... I'm a c# programmer, one day my boss ask me to learn Oracle Developer/2000 since we will have a project using it. I googling around and look for Oracle Developer/2000 and only get little information. And finally i found some information about Oracle Developer 10g. My question is : What is Oracle Developer/2000 anyway ? Is Oracle Developer 10g newer version from Oracle Developer/2000 ? Need some advice from you guys, maybe it become my recommendation to my boss. Like always, thanks in advance for reading this..err..no..for giving me suggestion. :) "Courage choose who will follow, Fate choose who will lead" - Lord Gunner, Septerra Core "Press any key to continue, where's the ANY key ?" - Homer Simpsons Drinking gives me amazing powers of insight. You can learn about it at Oracle's site[^] but Oracle defines it as "a rich set of tools for business intelligence, database and data warehouse design, and application development." Since it is a suite (collection) you should ask what part(s) you are going to use. JDeveloper is their Java Development IDE, which of course different from their warehouse builder application... FWIW Oracle offers free plug-ins for Visual Studio and their own data adapter (ODP.Net) Oh and 10g is newer than 2000. hth Al
