Do you have a link for this? Was this from Microsoft iteself, or just someone guessing? It's kind of hard to believe they are going to be charging that much.
¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)! SELECT * FROM User WHERE Clue > 0 0 rows returned Save an Orange - Use the VCF!

Do you really care about the price?
Well, I get my copy as part of the MSDN sub, but I was thinking more from a general perspective.

Actually, that is licensed just for development correct? You could not say, play a game on it unless you were researching for game development. Nor could you right a love story to publish as it is not covered under the license. The licenses to the MSDN packages have been so misunderstood (I know I did not understand them). In 1999 I was working at a place with 25 developers on staff and they had three MSDN subscriptions as they believed each covered 10 developers. Then in 2000-2003 I worked at a place that had one subscritpion for us five developers and two office staff people (MS Office and OS's). I think most people now understand how limited the license is, but I am sure there are still some that have no clue..

Is it an acciedental or 'wanted' leak of information?? Why should a site prepare for pricing information when the OS is still in pre-RC stage. I guess MS wanted to check the price-reaction at this rate. So that they can tage the pricing accordingly!!!!

Yep, the OSes are provided for development purposes. But I don't think there's a restriction on checking email on your dev-laptop - even if it's personal email, or using Office. Not sure of installing and playing games though.
