VPC: If not Vista then maybe try QNX
-
 Just being silly remember the old QNX floppy demo? You can still download this floppy based OS http://qnx.projektas.lt/qnxdemo/qnx_demo_disk.htm and run it. As a goof I decided I didn't feel like rebooting so I raan it under Virtual PC instead. Just use MS Virtual CD to mount the iso image http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/b/6/7b6abd84-7841-4978-96f5-bd58df02efa2/winxpvirtualcdcontrolpanel_21.exe Create a new VM machine entry and start it. When starting make sure use the "Capture Physical Drive :X" feature and it will start hit spaceabar and select appropriate keyboard mapping. It asks you what screen resolution and then how you want to setup the network static or dhcp. I chose static for simplicity sake next the builtin browser opens to 127.0.0.1. I came back here just for the fun of it got some errors doesn't support the javascript features used here but not too bad. Well that was my stupid Sunday trick of the day waiting around for Cablevision support to get back to me  Sorry about the long link but I figured you would rather see what the links were for rather then guess whether I might be posting some spam/hack link.
