    Woke up this morning, couldn't be bothered going into work, so phoned in and informed my boss I was having a personal day. Went out to my lovely new (2 months old) car and some little shitbag has run a key down the side of it. The garage wants £400 for a respray across both doors that were damaged. Anyone want to club together and get a bulk buy on some of these.. (long flash download) :mad: if(E_NOINTERFACE == pThat->QueryInterface(IID_IUnknown,(void**)&pUnk)) { // I aint no pUnk bitch! }

    I am thinking that the last one would be best. That way you can have the joy of doing it yourself. I would want it to have an optional module that would torture them for a while though. Maybe whip out and attach them to the seat and then administer progressive electorshock for a while. Just enough juice to break bones, not enough to knock them out. Bastards. I had someone break off my antenna for no good reason eons ago, and then many years later I saw someone doing it to someone else's car. Unfortunately the bastard ran away before I could get across the street and grab him. I was determined to put the useless piece of garbage into the intensive care unit if I got my hands on him. :mad: I hope you catch the bastard sometime. If you do, give him/her/it one for me too. Unless your insurance covers it, my opinion is to leave it as it is, and only repair it just before you upgrade or trade-in your car. Reason being, as soon as you fix it, its liable to happen again. I have lived in Las Vegas for a year now, automobile insurance rates are like sky-high. I expereinced first-hand some of the reasons for this. Somebody scratched a key through my car, it cost me $475 to fix. within two weeks, I found out somebody had rammed so hard into my rear bumper its a write off(need $550 at least) :mad:

                You didn't park it crosswise in two spaces or anything like that, did you? Some poeple do that - they get keyed sometimes.

                    I have a solution for those people. I write a nice note to them on their windshield using a wax marker (lipstick will do). No real damage, but quite a pain to clean off. I've also heard of people spraying CS into the vents of able bodied people's cars that are parked in handicapped spots. Or loosening the valve cores of a tire or two.

                      Yeah Had the same thing done to 4 cars on my street, this time the little tw*t sprayed silver paint down all the cars, but he made one cricial mistake, he left his initials on the wall round the corner. Needless to say I found out who it was and dealt with him accordingly. I found it pointless contacting the police as they just give you a crime reference number, for insurance claims purposes. England is being run by little toerags who know they can get with damaging personal property. Normski. - Professional Windows Programmer

                        Older than they look, jaded in their tastes, and generally going downhill, as lives go. Hollywood is mostly sham - please don't judge us by that crap. That's not really anything close to what America is about... Keep in mind the fact that what Hollywood puts out, we consume only to escape the reality of our real lives. It would be a pity if the rest of you were as taken in by it as those of us who live here. Life in the colonies is not what is depicted in the movies.

Or loosening the valve cores of a tire or two I like that approach - very Ghandi-esque. Passive resistance, and all that. I like to loosen the little valve at the bottom of the radiator to let the coolant out. It's not only expensive to replace, but it also tends to destroy the vehicle before it reaches its proper parking place. Another fun game to play is to place an empty bag of sugar next to the rear wheel, whilst leaving the petrol flap open, giving the impression that someone has filled the tank with sucrose. The offending party, if possessed of minimal intelligence, will gladly pay for a tow to a shop to have the tank drained and cleaned.
