VC++ samples: gone!

Is it just me, or is this slimy? It appears that Microsoft, to push acceptance of Visual Studio.NET, have removed the Platform SDK samples from msdn.microsoft.com. For example, the overlap sample, illustrating overlapped I/O in Winsock, is just... gone, with the message: --- With the release of Visual Studio .NET, this topic is no longer being updated. Overlap: AcceptEx and Overlapped I/O Click to open or copy the files for the Overlap sample. The sample files associated with this topic are no longer available. --- Luckily, they can't erase my CDs... Tim Lesher http://www.lesher.ws
