    Anyone seen it yet? Heard that they upped the number of rows and columns and I'm curious to know if the column names are still letters :) and how it handles backward compatibility in that regard.

    I always set my columns to numbers. I find the R1C1 reference system *much* easier to use.

        Not enough protons in the universe for a googol, let alone a googolplex. How many protons in a byte? Besides, Microsoft probably won't use the original Google. :)

          In VBA code, I do, but R12345C12345 becomes too big.

            Columns and rows are still lettered and numbered, respectively. Capacity has indeed been increased and you can now have up to 4 bajillion rows (or something like that).

              According to this[^] 1 million rows by 16,000 columns. A spreadsheet large enough to walpaper ah house and still be illegible.

                  #define REALLY_FOUR_BAJILLION (4 * FOUR_BAJILLION) // Jim screwed up!

                        Hi, I've done some market research and this is a no-go. After all, Powerpoint slides can easily be replaced by web pages. I guess that's what everybody does.
