In lieu of an earlier post I made, I decided to get a new monitor[^], and I'm so glad to get rid of that blurry piece of something unmentionable it's unreal. Should anyone be curious, I'm pleased so far. I just need to fix the gamma, brightness, etc. to my liking before I'm completely comfy. But, it's so clear! Now I can code again without having to be psychic. :-D

 Nope. I haven't a clue what it stands for actually.

A Samsung SyncMaster 225BW[^]. It's hard to say goodbye to CRT quality, but the display is so much easier on my eye muscles I'll just have to suck it up and deal with it.

I'm glad Jeremy. You picked a good one as well, one I'd recommend in a heartbeat. Great panel, great components, great warranty, and worth every penny. Now if I just had the pennies, you just might pry my Sony CRT from my fingers, then again maybe not. No way can I afford an LCD at the resolution I like to run.

OK - I recommended as Samsung, and you got the one that's 2 " bigger.

Don't you have like 6 monitors though?

I was driving 5, but I had to go back to 4.  And, one blew up.

Man, that's gotta one big irritation to find your mousepointer on 4 monitors. I'm glad I only use two, although they are getting worse after 3 years of service. (It's almost time to say goodbye to my 15" TFT screens :S)

Well, with my eye muscles, the transition to LCD had to happen sooner or later. It's weird, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Now, I'm curious. What kinda res do you use?

              1920 x 1440 x 32 bit @ 120 dpi. The G400 rocks!
