I doubt it's random, your article has 35 votes with an average rating of 4.82, that sounds like an article worth featuring, to me.

I did read somewhere around here that the randomness is indeed limited to higher rated articles, but there are still quite a few of those around and it was nice to see mine there. :-> The added irony is that I was actually working on improving the code in that article and just came to check something on Code Project when I saw it. Nice surprise.

I know it was only random and it's gone already, but I was nonetheless thrilled to see my Low-level Windows API hooks from C# to prevent unwanted keystrokes[^] as the Featured Article on the main page. Makes me feel I've arrived (not sure where, mind you...)
