Hello, I was just going through Google and found bunch of IT companies that provided training for various programming languages(C#, PHP, C++, etc.) That got me thinking would it be actually possible to provide Instructor Led Training online? I think with the right experienced instructors, good course material, system of testing and appropriate technology such a service could be possible and much more convenient. What do you guys think ?

You need a instructor for PHP give me a buzz. This sounds like an excellent idea.

You're a bit late. Checkout Elluminate.com. They're already doing it, along with a host of others[^].

Hello well, I checked elluminate does have tutoring services but it is for maths and I think they have a writing center. I'm talking about programming classes. Most of the other sites on yahoo directory are providing online tutorials rather than personalized instructor led training. But thanks for links.

Well, I just went through an instructor-led 2 weeks ago, and it wasn't for math. The instructors can share out their machines so you can see everything they have on theirs, just like Remote Desktop, plus 2-way interaction and shared whiteboards. In addition, they also support Remote Desktops to virtual machines to do whatever you want on their equipment and setups. Active Directory with multiple machines open, running Visual Studio on one and SQL Server on another and whatever on another, and another? No problem...

ActiveDirectory and Exchange 2003. I have no idea what the price was because it was mandated that we take the classes - even if we already knew what we were doing...
