which font suits you best on your prefered coding editor? - is it one font for all ide's ? - doesn't really matter, the defaults work just fine ? - or are you really fussy about different fonts on diff applications :) ? me.. i'm not too picky, at least not usually, but for some reason, on VS.net, i just can't find something that actually works, hence the question  Consolas [too dark], Lucida Console [too light/thin], Courier [mmm.. maybe?]

VUNIC!!!! ProggyCleanSZ (1) Yes, if I get around to setting the font (2) It does, but is not vital. (3) I am not fussy.

I frankly don't care. I've never changed a font on a program in my life.

I prefer the sans serif fonts when I'm working. I usually go for Arial.

Consolas works nicely in VS2005. I also use it when displaying code on web pages. Not so good in programs that don't support ClearType though... I also love the default SciTE font scheme - never thought i could stand using proportional fonts while coding, but this changed my mind. Also looks fantastic when printed.

Courier New 10 for everything except the "Solution/Workspace" view, Tahoma or Segoe UI for that.

which font suits you best on your prefered coding editor? - is it one font for all ide's ? - doesn't really matter, the defaults work just fine ? - or are you really fussy about different fonts on diff applications :) ? me.. i'm not too picky, at least not usually, but for some reason, on VS.net, i just can't find something that actually works, hence the question  Consolas [too dark], Lucida Console [too light/thin], Courier [mmm.. maybe?]
