Member ID above 4,000,000

Just curious... I've recently spotted a member with an ID above four million, but the meter in the upper left corner reveals that we still have 2,300 members to go before we reach 4,000,000. Are certain numbers considered "dirty", like "666,666" and similar?

You're probably right Colin, but doesn't ~15,000 deleted accounts sound like a lot? Well, never mind.

Dummy accounts used in load testing?
-- CleaKO The sad part about this instance is that none of the users ever said anything [about the problem]. Pete O`Hanlon Doesn't that just tell you everything you need to know about users?

not sure... I voted it back up... but I could make some guesses... The top ten reasons to down vote a post: 10) Too many words (this is a relative issue, for some people this is past two words) 9) Too big of words (past 4 characters is a problem for some) 8) You used the D word, to some it isn't humorous 7) You used the evil number in a post (see #8) 6) Your middle name made them hungry, they punished you for it 5) William Morris dropped in and was hurt... 4) The deleted people were hurt, all one of them multiplied by thousands 3) You have a website... they don't (don't ask me, I am running out of ideas!) 2) You have an arch nemisissisisis 1) Because. any bets on how rapidly this gets shot? -- modified at 11:36 Tuesday 10th April, 2007

That is why I saved it for #1. It was difficult coming up with 9 other excuses. :)

Correct. The number of members displayed on the homepage is the number of valid sign-ins. This equals 4+ million less a bunch who have left the building.
