Dear All, I'm an ASP.net developer so i donno if this is the right forum... My problem is with my windows 2003 server I donno if it's a virus but something is causeing the explorer.exe process to stop and start each 5 seconds i updated the anti virus and scanned the drives but no viruses were found, maybe i need a windows update but as the explorer keeps restarting i can't open it from there so i would need a link to download the needed update from another pc and install it on the server It's kinda urgent so i would appreciate quick response :)

    Best Regards 3ala2 :)

Can you read the security/system/application log events? They might give you a better view on the problem.

I believe you can run Event Viewer from Safe Mode; try it and check the Application and System logs for clues.

Or, if you have another machine, you can connect the Manager (Right-click My Comptuer -> Manage) to the Win2K3 box and look at the event log that way.
