Does anyone has opinions on this book[^]? Recently I've had some "rust" problems with a couple of patterns (very simple, indeed), so I think a book on the topic is a nice thing to have, also as a handy reference. Moreover, with the current $/€ exchange rate, it's very cheap. It costs me about an half than any retail price I can find here in Italy. Thanks for any advice. :)

I think, this book is great. I had a lot of fun reading it. You have to like this style of writing. A lot of (black/white) pictures. Different fonts.

as others have said, it is a matter of taste. I too found the format interesting at first, but it got irritating rapidly. I was going to pass you on a great site, Huston design patterns, but it doesn't seem to be responding today so here is the google cache: Huston Design Patterns[^]

The fact is that I find very annoying reading on the screen, this is the reason why I still buy technical books.

It works for me. It looks nice, thanks! :) Is this Jeffry, or another dude having the same sig?

          Cheers, Vıkram.

A quick look at his profile will tell you it's Jeffry. I must say, his new nickname is very interesting! :-)

I really liked this book, and i've recommended it to several other people. It's really aimed more at learning the patterns than as a refresher/reference though, but if you've not covered these too extensively before, then it really gets you understanding.

"El Corazón" is "The Heart" in Spanish.

Best book ever :D No really, I just loved this book, we used it in school and it is the only book I still use from time to time. Recommended it to a lot of friends and use it most of the time to explain the patterns.

except I couldn't figure out how to get the right character to replace the 'o' in the name.... Though if I recall it was because some abuse of the ability, so I didn't try hard.
