    This is not a programming question. This is a completely pointless question:) but I am interested to know if anyone else besides me uses the system.web.mail/system.net.mail class to send emails. I still use outlook/gmail to recieve/send messages but, I found that creating my own email program using the system.web.mail class has certain advantages over other email programs. The most important advantage I think would have to be the fact that the email program is portable.:)

      I do. I hate depending on external programs like Outlook, because otherwise the client's computer relies on external programs just to run your program.
