1- 7, as the first cigs will make another 6 stumps to make another. 2- Four, is the only number that it's characters equals it's value. 3- 3 ,as Nish first got it. 4- As the rocks will surly come from earth, nothing will change.

With the answer I can translate the question into normal english. "How many characters does the answer of this question have?". The original appears to be the victim of poor translation by a nonnative speaker.
