A long time ago, a wise man in the Islamic country "basically the cousin of prophet Mohammad" had a problem dealing with three men fighting over a fortune that they ware all sharing it in different percentages..
They were 17 camels.
The first man's share in those camels was half of the whole fortune.
The second's share is one third.

The meat was somewhat tough, but that was mostly because we insisted that the meat be fresh. (No refrigeration in the town) We cooked the **** out of it and that probably made it tougher. It tasted a lot like beef, and the cuts had some gristle as well. Properly seasoned and prepared, (Lots of Bar-B-Que Sauce, etc) Camel is pretty tasty. MRE's can't compare. When visiting foreign lands in the back of a Blackhawk, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco is a must. Det cord and Parachute cord come in handy as well. smiles...

MREs are done in institutional bland to make sure everyone will find them palatable, if not particularly good. From what I've heard any sort of spice/sauce will be a big hit.

-- Neil PeartYea, I was in the Military. Spices are always a good thing! Seriously, the things I missed the most were odd things you normally might not normally need but liked. Toothpicks, dental floss, spices, stuff any Wal-Mart has, but a military PX didn't carry. I carried a full electronics repair kit with me and our mechanic used it to fix lots of trucks with electrical problems. I also carried a haircut kit and man was that useful. Ya gotta remember that where I was, things hadn't been established for long. Watch batteries, eye-glass kits, weird stuff like that was precious. I have no idea what they need over there nowadays.
