    I do my programming on a seperate pc with no access to the outside world except for a flash drive and cd drive. --Is it possible for me to update its XP to SP2 with downloads from this computer? -Thanks

      You do not need internet access to update XP to SP2. You just have to have the entire installer on a CD or some other drive.

        This[^] page allows you to download the entire service pack at once. That'll probably allow you to burn in onto CD and install it anywhere without internet access.

          Hi Thista, IE6, SP1 is more difficult since the 500 KB setup (ie6setup.exe) is a web installer. Below is the trick. It saves the setup files locally, for running at any time. Jeff "S:\InternetExplorer6SP1\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"

            Thank's for the link, it worked and is all good. I killed bios:mad: i while back and don't trust many updates(I even got a progress bar). Thank you, as i can continue coding on a 'new:cool:' pc.
