When i have no access to a computer, i often check my email and visit (and occasionally post at) CP from my mobile and so far it's seemed to work well, but there's been a few hickups since the phone's browser, Verizon's OpenWave has little if any support for JavaScript. It even goes as far as stripping out Kyle's username, which basically shows a "no-name" user icon, but i could still tell who it is based on inflamatory comments, although this is not what the thread is about. The browser does support cookies and CSS pretty well, which preserves most of CP's functionality, so I'm able to log in and post without a problem, and with the view set to "expanded" i can view the first page of each forum. But an issue i've been having is the [First], [Prev] and [Next] seem to clump together, and the phone's browser interprets them as one link, limiting me to only seeing the first page. The best i can do is check my email for responses to subscribed threads, but can never respond myself until i can get my hands on a computer. The other thing is the message that says something along the lines of "Welcome to the Lounge, if you feel you've come to the wrong place, check the Forums" seems to get flattened out and displays one character per line, which is a bit hard to scroll past. But everything else seems fine, although the box that's showing previews of the subtle bugs and coding horrors forums is kind of a pain as well, since i have to scroll thru about a half a page worth of material before i can get to the actual posts. This isn't urgent, but i've just been thinking of this for a while and finally decided that it may be a good idea to raise this question, since mobile browsing isn't going to go away anytime soon. Roswell:) [edit] - nevermind the coding horrors box...it seems to have been removed, though i have no idea when, since i haven't been very active here the past two days. [correction] - must've been a bug or a coding horror...the subtle bugs box is back:omg:

Sounds like we need a CP mobile site. Does such a thing exist already?

A Mobile capable version is being developed as we speak. Well, actually I need to get some breakfast into me, then I'll get back to finishing it. As we speak. So to speak...

          cheers, Chris Maunder

That is awesome! I don't get much time to be on CP, so if I could get there from my Treo it would definitely expand my usage (of course I can can on there today, but it's an exercise in frustration on the tiny screen).
