Online Forum Founder sued by business
-
The owner of a very popular forum here in Australia (www.whirlpool.net.au) is being sued by a Gold Coast (Qld) company over comments posted on the forum. Read about it here[^]. Hopefully the courts will see sense and throw it out... The business is claiming losses of $150K per month... they had better get their books open to prove that they even *had* that kind of revenue stream, let alone have lost it!!
------------------------------------------- Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow; Don't walk behind me, I may not lead; Just bugger off and leave me alone!!

Ah that takes me back; I joined Whirlpool back in 1999 when it was, if I recall rightly, hosted on Bigpond servers. Even though I now live in the US I still complete their yearly broadband survey.
