Alternatives to iPhone

I have been looking to treat myself to nice Windows CE/Mobile phone/PDA, not as much for the voice/phone capabilities, but rather for the internet/data that I could carry with me, and run my applications on it... only if the device would have visual resemblance to the likes of iPhone, except the price tag. One is the style factor, but as a Windows CE device, to be able to write custom/handy application for it. This one looks just like iPhone; it sells for about $250 on eBay. What is bit more interesting (if true) is that tPhone runs on Windows CE. What is bit perplexing, for Windows CE device, it does not support WMA/WMV media playback format (or it at least is not listed). Looking at the specification it also does not support 850 GSM. There is another cool phone, not yet available, and when released will be bit more expensive than tPhone, called Meizu M8. Runs on Windows CE 6.0 (not Windows Mobile), and comes with two digital cameras (one on back and front).

tPhone
Come on Mike, even the review you linked to is a complete shambles. "If it wasn’t for the case then the tPhone wouldn’t satisfy me at all!" :wtf: So it looks like an iPhone but is crap... but it looks like an iPhone so it is pretty cool... :sigh: The Meizu looks a lot better. Samsung's SGH-F700 looks pretty good.

Yeah, I've really wanted to want an iPhone but it would be such a downgrade in terms of features that I use daily that I haven't been able to talk myself into it. Oh and for the iPhone lovers, I am not hating but I use the following features on my 2 year old nokia 6682 all of the time: voice dialing via blue-tooth streaming audio via blue-tooth blue-tooth file transfer. voice recording for quick notes. pairing my phone with my laptop for network access. Once it supports these features I'll pick one up.
