Since the ASP.NET version of the site launched, visiting http://codeproject.com (without "www.") gives a page not found error. It used to redirect to the home page. Thanks Jon

Tim Wallace has brought this to the attention of CP Team in 'Suggestions & Bug Reports' forum on 30th January. You can find the permalink here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/View.aspx?fid=1645&msg=2409129[^] I think CP Team should be in the process of addressing this issue.

I guess, Chris responded to this in 'Suggestions & Bug Reports' forum that it is because of search engine restrictions. Search engines prefer a website having a single primary domain and multiple domains redirecting to the same content are discouraged.
