If he wears those super little tight leather gloves that he reckons don't fit, I'm game....

Cold Of The Year Not had a cold for nearly 2 years, then some selfish moronic retard decides he would 'work through his' sittng next to me. His justificatoin - I might as well get paid for being ill at work instead of being ill at home. His going to cost me at least two days pay. I'm still doing 'design' work for them, so they might see fit to pay me. I ranted about this the last time somebody who I worked with decided to cough snot and plegm everywhere opposite me. Some people.

Did you talk to your manager and/or HR dept about this? They should have a policy in place for this stuff. He's not just coding you time, but the company money.

A zinc lozenge every three hours will reduce the severity and duration of the cold. Only zinc lozenges made with zinc gluconate or zince acetate are effective. Avoid citrus drinks within an hour of taking a zinc lozenge.

Stay at work. When you sneeze/cough, make sure you point it in his direction. Picking up his phone and/or driving his mouse are added bonuses.

I might just do that - I blamed him tongue in cheek, but actually that guy may have cost me two days work, which, like you said, not only affects me, but the project as a whole. That, coupled with the fact I really don't like him, means I might just knock on HRs door when I get back.

Nothing more offensive than a child coughing right into my face. Never considering to turn his head or cover his mouth. Probably the biggest insult someone can render.

AFAIK people are most contagious before they exhibit any symptoms, that's the genius of the cold and flu virus. By the time they come into work with a runny nose and coughing they are no longer contagious.

If you just look at this guy you'd feel like bathing in bleach for a week - unwholesome doesn't come into it!
