The post on what is under people's desks got me thinking. Would anyone like to theoretically swap what is under their desk for what is under mine? At the end of the process in the best BBC tradition you can just hand it all to a passing cleaner and avoid any obligation to actually post it out. As a reminder I have the following: Two boxes of books (SQL Server 7.0 anyone?), the motor from one of those radio controlled blimps that I won at a TechEd, 27 football programmes, a copy of Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' and a broken mug. I would like to swap for a Smarties Mug without too much internal staining.

I don't suppose you know how to get bloodwine stains out of an office carpet by any chance? :doh: I knew I shouldn't have opened that draw but I was looking for things to swap with digital man for his tackyons. I'm going to need something to attach stuff to the new notice board, like notes reminding people that office desks are not the place to store your fictional subatomic particle collection or beligerant alien armies, ouch weyurgle au

where do you think all those interesting fur colors come from? if the carpet is a man-made fiber they won't eat it, but will eat every last morsel of natural food essences or rub the oils into their coats to maintain the picture perfect coat. That much hair requires regular maintenance you know, just ask Cousin It. A nice stiff rub with a tribble combined with some clear romulan ale will lift the stain out. Oh yeah, you do have some real romulan ale handy right? even though it is ... somewhat... discouraged?
