We were grown from cells that came from the universe, which the matter and physics I'm typing in it is amazing how the universe is working. Human life is very amazing. How I experience this sh*t its like wow.

People call me, sometimes they ask me stupid questions like "Whats this thing down here that keeps popping up?". "Ok now how do I get online?".

Well I get calls for damaged hard drives, all the usuals. I rebuilt a computer because it overheated, and its still running today. I replaced the motherboard in a dell laptop once too. That was tedious.

If you could do that, there's plenty of places that would give you a job maintaining PCs at about four times your present salary. Conclusion: you can't.

Bullshit, thats why I get all these fucking PCs and phone calls. And thats why I worked at circuit city's Firedog team. The thing is though is that they make you stand out on the floor your whole shift, with the load music, people looking over your shoulder, and you are supposed to sell computers and computer services. Talk about a shitload of work in a shitty environment. I made enough to buy a brand new laptop though.

Working in a 24/7 restaurant presents interesting social situations and structure. In this analysis I will present to you the steps involved in becoming part of the crowed, trying to secure your income, and maintaining and balancing relations between the coworkers. Step one: Getting hired. Becoming part of the group is the toughest part, you must make them think you know what you are doing and establish a friendly aquantanship with all who works there. You must seem bright, ready to learn, willing to work, and you must share positive and interesting information about yourself. It is also the perfect time to establish work friends and get to know the social order. Who talks to who, and what attitudes people have towards others. There is the "manager" who sneakily gathers information about you and your abilities. A manager is rarely present during 2nd and 3rd shift, but s/he will always know whats up. Once you are plugged in, you can try some tactful manipulation to secure yourself a little. Failure to follow these steps will lead to a quick unemployment, which I have almost encountered and witnessed already. A new dishwasher was fired on her first day for not establishing herself and failing to demonstrate her performance, she was slaughtered, I felt bad for her. Step two: Maintaining. Now here is where things can get tricky. You have established yourself successfully and now you must maintain yourself. You have learned about the people you work with, and they have also started to annoy you. You see that they can be very strange at times, some are just very very rude and shitty. Shitheads are the worst to deal with. You have to be blunt, or else they will step on you. You have to manipulate the social situations to seek a balance, to keep from annoying and being annoyed. This can become very tedious when you are the only male employee, girls talk, and if you are good looking, things can get troublesome. Especially when they are old enough to be your mother and or are not attractive. One actually has the nerve to tell me to "Shut the fuck up" when I'm not even saying anything, thats her way of making fun of me when I'm not talking. :wtf: She is creepy because I think she likes me, and she is funny in the head. Creeps me right out of that place and into my safe fortrous I call my home. Step three: nasua To be continued.X|

Of course, you could just be good at what you do. I've worked at places like this: high employee burn rate, and a few long term folks that look like they couldn't get a job elsewhere. But that seems to be the core of 24/7 culture.

Funny, recently on maturenymphosjobadvise.com I read that: "..and there's these funny smart aleck boys, think everyone is hot for them, but wouldn't last me a minute. We have one that looks like he'd clock in at 30 seconds, really annoying. I tell him to shut the fuck up when he isn't even talking. Always creeps him out!"

What's that saying? Wisdom knows no age, or something like that. The Soapbox is for heated/controversial debate, not...your weird stuff... I may be 13, but I'm learning a lot about how to debate and argue. And 13 is massive. So you gotta respect me.

When I was a young 13 year old I was learning C. You stumbled on this soapbox and now you are corrupted for life. Steve Wilkos would have some sturn words for your parents.

That is why I only do software development with my business these days. Got really sick of those stupid questions. Now, it is "what doesn't the program do this or that?", when asking for functionality that was not in the specifications requirements...
