Wrong country name in invoice
-
I received a zero dollar invoice (because i win the prize in monthly competition) from a company where they write my country name as India and put my country name Bangladesh in state field. 3 (three) million people sacrificed their life for the independence (Wikipedia article on Bangladesh_Liberation_War[^] and also only nation of the world who fought for language Bengali_Language_Movement[^]), I am shocked at this kind of mistake.

I wrote them to change the address.

Not to give an excuse to this, but you'd be shocked to know how many people think that they're coming to Brazil when they go to Buenos Aires. Also, most people think that Brazil's capital is Rio de Janeiro (it's Brasília, btw). Geographic education in school is terrible in most countries. I was born in 1971 (so, just after the Liberation war), and I remember clearly learning that Bangladesh is in India in school. Schools are slow in changing the information they pass to their kids. After this, we often don't learn anything new. So, don't be shocked if in ten or twenty years people still make the same mistake. BTW, Brasília became Brazil's capital in 1960 (almost 10 years before), and the entire, huge city was built in 3 years, in an astonishing work of architecture and engineering. How many people know that?
I see dead pixels Yes, even I am blogging now!

Ok it seems that we are both right because if you look at the right side of the page of the link you gave it to me you will see "Canberra (or Melbourne)" so they are the same city with different names.

"The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory, 280 km (170 mi) south-west of Sydney, and 650 km (400 mi) north-east of Melbourne." If they are the same place, then how is it 400 miles north-east of Melbourne?

if you were following the thread you will find that we have noticed that Canberra (or Melborn) are actually the same city with different names
So why are they over 600 km apart[^]?
