Isn't it a gas guzzler? I'm sure its better than its American counterparts (with a similar sized engine) but its still a 3.2L engine.

Yeah :) I get about 450km on 65 liters, mostly just town driving. It has a very fine engine, 160kw and tonnes of torque. It's huge too, we actually fit the TV on the back seat ;P (had to remove the box in the end, was ever so slightly too big, and no fold down seats).

I've wanted one off and on for the last year or so but I just can't justify it yet since my circa 1997 32 inch sony still has the same picture quality as the day we brought it home.

is that all? I just traded my civic for a hilander hybrid for my wife, and I inherited her camry. just wait until she graduates from GF to spouse, the value goes up. ;P lets see... then there is the house, landscaping... new rock walls... 52" high speed high color big screen LCD, blu-ray/hd-dvd combo (when the war was still going -- which now comes in handy, we're picking up the junked hd-dvd disks for a fraction of DVD costs even!)

Computers generally don't get curious and seek older/newer models out. You can upgrade computers much faster than girlfriends without risking retro-virus attacks from the previous model(s). Upgrades to new models should be done carefully, and cautiously.

They also don't pressure you into spending half your after tax income on stuff you didn't realize you wanted... :sigh:

Whoa! :omg: I wouldn't like to have that here with the way things are at the moment (sky rocketing expenses and seemingly decreasing income :(( ) My Mom has the E200, same year. They're brilliant cars. Sadly, I can't afford one... yet ;)

42" LCD some local brand (apparently uses LG parts), but it carries a 5 year guarantee compared to any thing else thats 1 year standard. Picture quality was no different to the other brands. That said the tires were almost the same price :(

I'm quite interested in that. Local brand you say, and 5 year warranty. Do they do HD as well, 'cos I'd rather buy a smaller screen, but go for HD for when DSTV goes HD.
