Hehe, I know Craig's List is a better place for this but ... I am looking to unload my 42" plasma 1080i/720p, dual HDMI (full array of connectors) ($1800 when purchased), Panasonic I purchased this last summer as well as a King Size mattress purchased this last fall. The mattress is a brand-named pillow-top affair that cost me about $1500 and would come with box springs. The TV is in Tulsa and the Bed is in Bartlesville. I will have brand names and the price I will accept when I am in town from June 30th to July 3rd. If anyone is interested, please either email or post a reply and I will get your info and call you with exact model numbers and price when I have the. Price will be fair-market value whatever it turns out to be. I am estimating a significant discount from what I paid because they are used and, at least with the TV it is not 1080p so it may be obsolete. This is by no means a fire sale as I have a lot of family in the area that would take it off my hands in that case. My estimate is $950 for the TV and $500 for the bed. Let me know. (Must be willing to pick-up in Bartlesville, and/or Tulsa general area. I am getting rid of it because I don't want to deal with it)

Yeah, but to post the ad on Craig's List I need the exact descriptions and price. Here, at least, I could get interest from someone that may be local who could come by and give a yea or nay and make my life easy.

I do not know much about plasma screens, but since new 42" 1080i plasmas are going for $1,200 or less on ebay and even here locally they have been on sale for under $1,000 at times, isn't $950 a bit high to risk on a "used" plasma TV?

Consider it user tested in production environment, the highest form of testing you can think of. :-D

I got my estimated price from Amazon guessing the model number. Since I do not have the exact price I do not know at this point, merely an estimate. However, I can say that when I bought the TV there were 42" plasmas available new for under a grand, yet I still chose this one. Price won't be set until I have the exact model number, what I said was just an estimate to give persons of interest an idea of the ballpark and not a binding price.

I just bought a brand new 42" 1080i Philips LCD from Costco for $999, which included free shipping. BTW, how old is your plasma and is it still under warranty?

It is 6 months old, I still have the box. I don't know about warranty, factory warranties are notoriously crappy.

I might offer you $450 and you pay the toll from OKC? Based on this week's rainfall, you may also need to furnish a ferry ride to Bartlesville.

I guess watching TV in bed is really tough...
