That was my thought. But you are one of the very, very, very few I've seen to say "no problems with Vista."

Not 100% problem free, but far fewer issues than with the 2k-XP shift.

No problems here, in fact there are quite a number of us that have learned how to use it and how and why it's different and supplied the correct hardware to run it and stated that we've had no major problems with it and even prefer it and appreciate it's improved performance and speed and utilization of the hardware over older, lesser operating systems; but we're drowned out by the irrational majority here.

I was running happily vista for well over a year, but decided to downgrade for one major reason. The remote desktop connectivity is *evil*. Recently I started using my vista to vpn to work, at any given time 1. connect to vpn, ok, start RDT (remote desktop) connects fine. ;) 2. connect to vpn, ok, start RDT it complains it can not find or see the remote machine. try multiple times finally it connects  3. connect to vpn, ok, start RDT it complains it can not find or see the remote machine, try my a** out it won't, reboot it work, some times it takes more than one reboot to connect :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: after chasing the issue for months, I gave up and downgraded to xp, never had any issue with it again. :)

I loved Windows ME. I had no problems with it either. I know it's wierd, almost eerie, I just don't have problems with OS, except XP on my wife's computer. I think it must be the wife. Maybe I should upgrade :-D

:omg: :wtf: I just had to fix my wife's computer. Oh..my...god. Windows XP is the biggest pain in the a** I've ever had to work with. I told her "you're getting a new computer". I don't have these problems with Vista. I can't wait.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Huh, well I can certify from personal experience that it works perfectly in Vista for me. I've been using it for over a year to connect to our remote windows 2008 server in L.A. on a daily basis. I remember when I first set it up there was something counterintuitive I had to do because I had never used it before, something funky about saving the password and login so it would do it automatically.
