How to clear recent project entries from Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition? I checked the registry - Hkey_Current_USER->Software->Microsoft->Visual Studio 9.0-> Download Manager I deleted the Download Manager that didn't do anything I still see a bunch of items under recent projects.

Try deleting the entries from this registry location:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\ProjectMRUList

Fernando Mendes Senior .NET Developer, Architect

When I checked my registry path it showed this HEKY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\ no ProjectMRUList. I'm using Visual Basic Express 2008.
