I really don't give a rat's ass. But I know there are TRUE idiots of biblical proportion who will go and buy it. BTW, these links might be of use: Maddox reviews iPhone - “When the iPhone was first announced, CEO Steve Jobs spewed enough BS to cover a football field full of babies 3 feet deep in bullshit, which sounds cool because he could have potentially murdered a football field full of babies, but he passed on this opportunity by introducing the phone instead.”[^] (You'll find words like shit, crap, bitch, and other abusive words. So see if you have to click). iPhone - big hit among the wealthy, stupid[^]

I've a 16G 3G one in the UK £150 + contract. I really like it and I'm far far from being an apple fan boy.

You have to be a real snob in order to pay more than twice the real value of that thing just for the cool logo. There are so many better products out there and cheaper too. Just look at the HTC Touch diamond for starters.

Quoth Economy 101: the value of an item is identical to its price, and the price is right if someone is willingto sell to someone willing to buy at that price. In todays Economy, "real value" defines itself by price, nothing else.

Even I bought iMac (20 inch, 2.6Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 320GB HD) for Rs.89000/- (INR) ($2225) in FEB 2008. In US 24 inch model with Intel Extreme processor is around $2200. And to my surprise in May 2008 Apple reduced around Rs.20000/- (INR) ($500) on all the iMac's. X| :wtf:

The technological/gadget cost of living in India is unbelievably high. It's far cheaper to live in New York if you are a geek than anywhere in India.
