    I live a life free from stress so I really don't need it. Sure it would be nice to eventually be a commercial rated pilot so I could have a fun second career that pays even less than programming but at least leads to better stories.

          I always thought pilots were paid better than programmers :~, including perks (and air-hostesses ofcourse :rolleyes:)

                  Just make sure you have a stick of Beemans and half a broom handle and you'll do fine. Good luck!

                                    Stole it from Chuck Yeager. He was always bumming sticks of gum (Beemans) off people before a test flight, and the day he broke the sound barrier, he had broken ribs and couldn't close the cockpit door without using a broom stick handle. That's how it was portrayed on the movie the Right Stuff, anyway.
