As one who has just recently come from the darkside to C#...I must say that I am truly sorry for you. Other than that, I know of no such site as a CP for VB. My truly sincere votes of condolences :suss: RIP :wtf: www.vb2max.com[^] ??? There's nothing similar, because most of the code samples you’ll find on the Web will be so stupid that there’s nothing useful at all. Most VB sites lay between very introductory texts and code that tries to mimic C++. Sorry. Concussus surgo. When struck I rise.

The thing is though, with A .NET future aint choice of language just going to come down to personal preference of syntax? With features of the langauge & runtime speed all dependent on .NET. So surely the deciding factor will come down to speed of development!

That makes the assumption that .NET is the Unmistakable Wave of the Future. I'm unconvinced on that front. And besides, are you going to write NT services, device drivers, real time mission critical apps, etc. in a glorified text markup language? Give me a language that doesn't say "no"... Is VB really this bad? Every time I look in the papers, I see people who want VB experience. I've only been doing VC++ for over a year, and I do enjoy it. I was thinking about trying to learn VB, too.
