I understand that, but the problem with that position is that it is implicit that your belief is right and true and the beliefs of the Hindus, Muslims, Bhuddists, Native Americans, etc... is completely wrong. And that's why religion can be dangerous - it can breed hate, disrespect, friction and extremism. This is precisely why I disagree with allowing religious ideology to dictate state-based morality and codes of law.

I never ever said my belief are the Truth, but are what I believe as being true. I don't claim I can demonstrate I'm right. I don't intend too, because faith and science are disconnected. You agree that religious matters have no ground to interfere with scientific matters, the opposite can also be true. IMHO, science and Religion don't compete.

This guy is an idiot. Assuming there's no God, why does he care so much ? What's the ad going to do ? If I see it, I will disagree. It's not going to change my life, or anyone elses. I will still disagree with Dawkins, the interesting thing is that he's the one who is dogmatic and divisive about it.

No, it's not, unless you decide to add underlying assumptions. For something where assumptions or constraints are not only not defined, but explicitly denied by definition (eg. God can do/be anything), it is completely impossible. Even with assumptions it's impossible to completely "prove" a negative, because there is always the possibility that the assumptions themselves are false.
