FitNesse for desktop applications?
-
Has anyone here used FitNesse[^]? I'm having a hard time understanding how it is different from unit testing frameworks, particularly for desktop applications. The FitNesse documentation says "FitNesse automated tests are about building the right code in the first place", rather than building the right code, but all the examples I've seen basically test higher level components with tabular data. What if the components have dependencies that would only work on a live application? I've come across only one instance where someone used it in conjunction with Selenium to run automated tests on a live web application. How have you used FitNesse (if at all)?
