My current workplace uses Microsoft Visual SourceSafe. I'm looking for good arguments to present to my supervisor regarding switching to Subversion. We have a ton of projects, all of which are either Windows Forms apps or ASP.NET web apps. Can you help me out?

Give him the end of life date for Visual SourceSafe (I am not sure what date that is but I think it's soon), then give him the price to set up Microsoft Team Foundation Server with the number of licenses you will need.

Dean Koontz, The Good GuyApril 2011 for Manistream support and 2016 for extended support, so unless he has no concept of time, not sure that argument would hold water :) Brad
