Even though the billing rate is high? It is an extremely easy dev work and it seems to be a great thing for independent consultants?

I am doing software development for the joy of writing software not for the money. I charge the same for my services as MOSS people but only because I am not looking for heads-down unthinking work ... which I really think is the vast majority of MOSS stuff. I actively seek challenging assignments and have no interest for anything else.

I'd like to avoid it at times also, especially when clients hear the buzzwords and start talking about things they don't understand. Er, wait, that's most of the time with clients :-D

Seems to be impossible to get into it though. Catch 22. Mind you for me right now it seems impossible to get into anything! 3 months unemployed and counting. :(
