Kids should be allowed to vote as well. Regardz Colin J Davies

I have to disagree, Colin. Voting should be considered a priviledge restricted to a few worthy individuals (such as myself, for example) not a birth right granted by default to everyone. I'm not a real reverend, I just play one on CP.

Isn't it great to live in a day and age when there is so little true injustice to concern ourselves with that we feel the need to appeal to such trivial nonsense as circumcision just to have something to feel all morally superior about? I'm not a real reverend, I just play one on CP.

I bet a rape or incest victim wouldn't think too kindly of you saying this about her trauma: "yet the amount of suffering is small, and likely very small (aside from the procedure itself, which nobody remembers anyway). you can't have a tragedy if the effects are neglible." Would you have agreed with being circumcised as a baby? Or would you have elected to keep your foreskin. If I, as an infant, had the voice, would never have consented. I do believe that there are some of you who would say, "Yes, snip it off! I don't care about not having pain-relief, cause babes don't feel pain!". I have always wondered; if doctors couldn't figure out that babies feel pain for hundreds of years, how can they even be qualified to suggest that circumcision is even good?

I am damn glad I was circumcised as a baby. I'm glad the procedure was done, and I sure as hell don't care how I felt about it at the time (I have absolutly no memory of it). Better then than now, ouch. Ryan Johnston

I read that most people don't have problems. What if you were one of the people that got an infection, or had adhesions because of a circumcision? It happens more than people think.

Good lord, man! You're comparing circumcision to racial discrimination, rape, molestation and cancer??!! Have you ever faced any of these things personally? I have and I can tell you there is no comparison. I think Christian is right, you need to go see a shrink to get over your obsession.

Well, given what I'll be going through in a couple of years or so, I'd be pretty mad if it had been done to me - it makes GRS/SRS surgery much harder, and I really don't fancy the idea of having skin grafts. As I've said before, circumcision should be banned unless the subject is a consenting adult.
