Let Africa Sink

I am also inclined to agree with the view taken in that article. Africa must learn to help itself before the rest of the world can help it. The current approaches benefit no one but the warlords and thieves.

I agree. I don't think the idea of letting Africa sink - or swim, as the case may be - on its own goes far enough, but like 500 lawyers at the bottom of the Potomac, it's a good start. Then let's get the hell out of Asia, including, but not limited to the Middle East. Then evict the UN, and drop out of the World Bank.

Why don't we take this attitude with every country? If you mess with us, then we'll mess with you, until then you're on your own.

I'm actually certain that you don't have a clue what he even meant by that.

Ah, that would explain your commie/liberal viewpoints today
Just as long as I have you validating the correctness of my assertions by disagreeing with them, I can't be too fucked up.
Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

If that's all you have going for you, you are pretty well fucked.
