Evening all, This is my first trip over here (to this part of the site anyway) so excuse me if i'm posting this in the wrong place ! Anyway, my question is, i have started studying c# at university and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good book that i could buy to 'dip my toes in the water' of ASP.net. I have no previous programming experience but ths does seem to be a language that gets a lot of focus these days. Once again, my appologies if this is in te wrong place (not really a programming question - is it ?) Regards Neil P.S fantastic site

The good news is that this sort of question is often asked in the lounge - indeed it's is a good place to ask this sort of question The bad news is that I don't do C# (yet) so I cannot recommend any books - but someone may well do so

I think this exact question was asked a couple of days ago on this site - so if you do a search you might find some recommendations (although the request may have been for web sites rather than books)

If I knew then what I know today, then I'd know the same now as I did then - then what would be the point? .\\axxx (That's an 'M')

Look into Amazon.com and then try the google books. The books you like is the one you will buy. Much of it depends on your reading style and your background.
