One for the stupid people

I have reached another member of my target audience. I could point out that the article also says:

The record of six days of 40 degree heat or more was set in January 1908. On Tuesday Adelaide had a top temperature of 43.2 degrees. The Weather Bureau is forecasting a further five days of 40 degrees or more for the city. The State's longest heatwave happened last March, with 15 days above 35 degrees.

Thus, by one measure (temperature above 35), the longest heatwave on record was last March and the longest heatwave by another measure (temperature above 40) is predicted to occur over the next few days. Of course, that in itself doesn't mean much. I was merely indulging in the Biblical practice of answering a fool according to his folly. Naturally the fools learned nothing and only added to their foolishness.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

You continue to demonstrate new inadequacies. An answer does not need to be in reply to a question. It can equally be a reply to a statement. Try adding a dictionary to your reading material. From the Concise Oxford Dictionary: answer n. 1. something said or done to deal with or in reaction to a question, statement, or circumstance.
