Well my point is simply that she sucks at tennis so perhaps she should try something else where her sponsorship deals would make more sense. Like acting. When Becks takes a free kick, it makes sense for me to think about buying his soccer boots. As for Anna, How many more times does she have to get booed off court? Ah well. Professional sport metrics are fiscal calculations, they have no relationship to athletic prowess. Thats what the word professional means. The similar argument holds for professional programmers. Regardz Colin J Davies

Unsure if that is sarcasm, but if it isn't let me explain. Professional sport is about Money aka Nett Profit. For example Tiger Woods makes more money away from the course than on the course. Sponsership has become far more important financially than tournament prizes in many cases. So in the current world the way to judge a professional athlete is by the amount of earning potential they have not by the results. Similar the Tri-Nations and Super-12 is about money, naturally who wins gets more media coverage, which in turn is more value. Giving the winners the capacity to buy better players. That's the way I read it anyhow. Regardz Colin J Davies

I didn't used to think so until I seen her at wimbledon this year in that tight top and very short skirt. Dinner is served! :D

So if he endorses golf clubs, I have at least a smidgeon of a good reason to buy them. If I'm sensible, (and yes I'm aware that most people aren't) I'll avoid buying Annas tennis shoes because it's pretty obvious they aren't helping her game much.
